I'm selling my Montego Blue Hardtop[/b]. I bought it in spring of 2010 from a guy who had a NB 2003. I think the top is in great shape, plus the color is really cool. It appears dark blue to green, depending on the lighting. For those who didn't read the whole subject line, it has the defroster- NA connector, and has the headliner. I paid 950.00 for it, will sell it for 800.00, firm price. I'm posting to sell it here and on C/L. I will attach pix i already have of the top on the P.O.'s silver car. I can take close-ups, or you can call me to come see it. My number should be accessible to CAR members in phone number list. BTW, IMHO, looks really good with white car, and probably others. I want a new handgun more than a hardtop, first 800.00 takes it.

Yes, though you may need a few additional items.

Definitely fits as far as body, check Miata.net they have a whole list of parts that fit both. I think it includes the necessary adaptations, if any, to make it happen. The defroster connection is different on the NA, but apparently people do change them. If you want to come see it, no obligation, we can sit it on your car and see what you think. I will ask for help carrying it down 2 1/2 flights of stairs from the loft in my townhouse to the parking lot. If i don't sell it in the next month, i will just keep it.

I can't do this right now. Fiscally I am strapped with all the other mandatory items that need to be done - a hardtop is something I would like - but since I just ordered a new soft top - I don't think I can do it. Sorry, didn't mean to lead you on.

Hubby doesn't know were I could stash it when I don't have it on the car!

Yeah, I threw mine back on the car this morning to free up backyard space so we can load the van for camping.

Mine just crowds the floor of the garage and keeps me from fitting even a Miata in there... But its priceless in winter time :)

Moss has a nice little roll around stand that holds the top on end. When the top is on the car, the stand the stand folds up to about 4 inches thick.

I keep wondering if CARS could find a storage facility that we built racks could be made to store Miata hardtops

Can also use the space above garage doors to store a Miata hardtop. Winch from a boating supply store some rope, 2 to 3 2x4s couple of pulleys and 4 eyebolts . With garage door closed winch the hardtop up and out of the way till late fall.

Hang it off the wall. Takes up very little space and it's up off the floor. All it takes is a piece of 2x4 and 2 carefully filed down 1/2" lag bolts to fit into the rear hardtop mounts. very secure.

No wall space even remotely close to big enough, nor any ceiling space. I have it on a rolling cart standing up but that's the best I can do.

If you go Beretta, and don't like the trigger (like me) I am told you can have trigger work done to make it better. I might try it, because next to the Glock the 92's trigger is pretty lousy.
