Dyno Day at York Automotive

Postby faeflora » January 21st, 2010, 5:49 pm

Hi guys, I'm working on setting up a dyno day at:

York Automotive
300 South Main Street
Mt Airy, MD 21771-5389

Costs are $50/participant. 3-5 dyno pulls are included for that price (depending on time and amount of participants). AFR, torque/hp readout is provided.

Tentative date is Saturday April 3rd. We will start around 10AM.

We will need about 10 people to make this happen.

Post in the thread if you want to attend. Currently we're at 3 people.

I too, am in. Should be interesting to see what I can pull out of a 1.6 tinkered with by the madman and his associates.
And let the transformation.... begin...

Glad to hear it! FYI this is a cross-forum invite. Including members of miata.net, CAR, and miataturbo.net. Do either of you know of a good post-dyno gathering spot/activity? I'm not that familiar with Mt. Airy.

That's about 20 minutes from me. I'd say The Greene Turtle, but parking can be a bit tight if there's a televised sporting event happening.

So Peter, am I going to this?

I gave it serious consideration, but doubtful right now. If I ever do get the MS running the car, I'll want some time to sort it out before dynoing, and will likely pony up for real dyno-tuning time instead of just a couple pulls.

OK the day is offically ON.

Dyno sessions will start at 10AM. Total cars we will dyno will be around 15- depending on time.

Cost is $50

We will be able to gather and eat at the restaurant across the street.

Christian, there will be at least one MS geek there-- Braineack who might be able to help you out with your setup. There should also be some Adaptronic and Hydra knowledgeable people there as well.

Last thing:

The date is now Saturday April 10!!!!

Just finished my dyno run. Very educational. Quite a few cars there both stock and modified.

Glad I went.
