I have a heater/AC with broken diffusers and a broken control panel. I have the parts (used) but I hear removing the dash and installing them is quite complex. Has anyone had experience with this?

With the earlier 90-93 cable-type HVAC controls, yes. With the later powered ones, no.

90-97 (NA) are the same.
And in '99(NB) they changed to rotary rather than sliding controls.
Nothing AFAIK is "powered".
BTW - it'd be better to post in NA. "Naturally Aspirated" refers to engine modifications.

Sorry, it's a '96. How difficult was the job in the '90-'93? I don't have a garage, so I'm a bit intimidated about taking the dash out and doing a quick job seeing as I've never dome this...
