I found BR Performance intake reviews at Maita.net.
I bought it, it fits, and above 3500 there’s more there.
A little louder under the hood as well.
It comes with 1/8" stainless steel heat sheild.

That is one wimpy heat shield. I would recommend the new Track Dog header wrap to keep your under hood temps down.

I don't have a header that's the stock shield over the stock exhaust manifold.
The heat shield is hard to see in the picture but if you look at the second pic you can just see it with the arrows (added for your convenience).

It’s 1/8th stainless, bolts to the fender wall were the bottom support for the old air box did, and the AFM bolts to top of the shield.
It’s much easier to see in person.
I’ll take a better pi tonight and post it.

I saw the heat shield. It is still puny for what it is. Enclosed is a photo of a heat shield.

The Track Dog Racing piece replaces the stock heat shield on the headers, and really keeps the heat out of the engine bay.

If your engine is breathing hot air, this intake will not do a whole hell of a lot but make noise.

Well I know it's doing more than making niose.
That kind of heat shield will require some fab work.
Remeber I have an M1 and there's a lot of junk in that corner of the engine bay.

The Dyno will tell.
