Looks like I will NOT be there, as I am now officially going to the EVO school in Danville, VA that day. Kinda far to run up afterwards...

Not that I recall. The whole process isn't really bad, just a whole lot to undo/redo.

Well I think I will forgo the A/C PS ectomy, and just concentrate on the belt, and seals.

Anyone have a pvc pipe or something that can be used to install the front crank oil seal?

I thought I should check in and see how many are gonna attend, looks like a good crowd. I saw some questions I can answer:
Show up whenever, after 8:30 am or so...give the wife a chance to get dressed. Timing belts and others big projects come early.
I will supply hot dogs and burgers and soda. Everybody should bring some kinda food and beer or alcohol of choice.
Yes, I still have the 96M, it's at the body shop being painted and I hope to have it back for Saturday. It will be FOR SALE after the paint job,
I don't have any projects planned for the car since I am not sure it will be back by then. But thanks for the consideration (Christian)!
See you all soon!

Looking back I see so far, three roll bar installations (Christian! Roll Bar guru, are you working all day?) a shock/spring swap, a set of Stainless Steel brake hoses, a timing belt, and we are ripping the nose off an NC.... YES we have to put it back on! (with new fog light bezels)

Looks like a great time. I think I am going to hit some Heineken Light, unless there are massive objections...

I'd guess the Heinekens are likely to object.

One of these tech days, I want to do a rollbar install, I just dont want to cut my panels...I cant cut a straight line for anything...

I trimmed mine with a scroll saw and am very pleased with the results. When the Tech Day comes to install your rollbar, I can bring the saw (and my car, so you can see the results).

This particular Tech Day is too far from my house.

Got room for any more attendees? I've got a front sway (and end links)that needs to be installed - I have no ramps...can anyone help?

I have a cheesy timing light if someone still needs it...

I'll be coming in late because I've agreed to help one of my friends get to Annapolis so he can pick up a new STI. I'd still like to shoot for getting the roll bar installed but, I will probably save the ss brake lines for another day.

Dave- Bring my bleeder with you. If anyone needs fluid, I can bring some to the meeting on Thursday. Someone there will be able to get it to the tech day.

Brad- once you've graduated, are you no longer allowed to aim roman candles at your friends and light them off?

Change of plans

I will not be doing my timing belt... instead I will assist with some brake work, roll bars and other small projects.

I think instead I will just bleed my clutch on my 91.

So if you need help, I will be available. I also will be picking Christian up from his job so he can attend and help

Actually can I get some quick help in changing my fuel filter? Please? :D

Summary for sanity:

Arrive after 0830. Burgers/Dogs/Soda provided by Ross.

JMPitt820 - Roll Bar
FaeFlora - Roll Bar
Travism - Roll Bar, late arrival
Quiksilver - Hidden Hitch wiring
PSBJames - Front Bumper

I may have an exhaust to install. I will likely be a late-morning arrival so as I can pick up some exhaust-related stuff. I soaked the cat bolts two weekends ago when I did the alignment bolts, but we shall see... Does anyone have brasso or other polish appropriate for tarnished stainless tips?

Unless I hear otherwise, I will bring chips/pretzels sorts of snacks rather than my traditional donuts.
